WISE is collaborating with Learning Without Frontiers, a leading event in the UK, to be held in London on 25-26 January 2012. It focuses on new approaches to education to give thought leaders from the education, digital media and entertainment sectors the opportunity to meet and explore the future of learning. WISE will host key individuals from its community and, at the WISE booth, showcase its various programs.
Attendees will have the opportunity to meet and listen to the project representatives of three of the WISE Awards winning projects: School-Business Partnerships, Teacher Education in Sub-Saharan Africa and Rewrite the Future – Save the Children.
The two-day program also includes the official launch of the first WISE publication, Innovation in Education: Lessons from Pioneers around the World, published in collaboration with Bloomsbury Qatar. This publication highlights the lessons of innovative educational initiatives around the world, several of which have been WISE Awards Winners and Finalists. Charles Leadbeater, the author of the book, will be present at the event to meet attendees and sign books.
